Our new home is located at 300 Railway Street in downtown Dundas. We plan to open March 1, 2020, with a well-equipped woodworking shop, some metal tools, and workbenches and areas for assembly and hand-tool use.
We’ll have space for classes and community events, as well as retail space for our members.
Cannon Valley Makers will provide a safe, vibrant space for members to enjoy working in and visitors to enjoy stopping by. All open hours will be determined by availability of our trained volunteer staff.
The main entrance of the space will include a retail location where members can sell their wares.
Sharing space and tools is one of the key benefits of joining a makerspace.
At CVM, members can reserve tools and know when the tools they need will be available to use.
Cannon Valley Makers can only exist with the help and contributions of members, volunteers, and community supporters. More information about getting involved with CVM will be available soon!
More than 300 makers have already signed up to learn more and show their interest in starting a community-based makerspace. We’re excited to help create a resource that will serve this community for years to come.
Learn a new skill, or pass it on to someone else. Members will be eligible to teach classes and share their skills. Cannon Valley Makers is dedicated to providing programming for all ages and backgrounds throughout the community.
